The Rapier Saffire 3-Tone Sunburst pays homage to the '60s yet offers modern playability, dependable hardware and a highly innovative ATN 5 switch.

Old School Yet Modern

Bringing back an original British electric guitar, the revived Rapier introduce the Saffire, taking the fight to American competitors once again. Packing old school vibes and modern playing comfort, the Saffire has a body made of okoume tonewood which combines with a C-profile Canadian maple neck and a 12"-radiussed rosewood fretboard that's been lined with twenty-two jumbo frets for maximum control over chords as well as solos. In addition, Rapier have mounted a high-quality roller bridge, a GraphTech NuBone nut and a set of Wilkinson E-Z Lok tuners to guarantee superior intonation and sustain.

Astronic Pickups & Entwistle ATN5 Switch

The Rapier Saffire has been armed with three specially-designed Astrosonic pickups, which not only sound rich and dynamic across the entire frequency range but come alongside an Entwistle ATN5 switch. Comparable to a varitone switch, this switch toggles between different sound profiles, from mid-boosted to sparkling to almost acoustic-like sound. Meanwhile, the specifics can be dialled in with single volume and tone pots in combination with a 5-way pickup selector switch.
